About

What is Everdawn?

Everdawn is a survival adventure server. You start in a village hub, gear up, and head out into the Wilds: one endless, shared world with nine custom biomes. Every player starts at their own spot, so there's always fresh land to explore - but it's all connected, so you'll run into other people out there.

Bring back ores, relics and crate keys, forge your pickaxe, run dungeons as a party or test yourself in the PvP arena. Play at your own pace: there's always a quest to finish or a corner of the map you haven't seen.

Nothing on Everdawn is sold for real money. Coins, crate keys, perks and tags all come from playing.

How it works

From first login to first boss

Five steps, at whatever pace you like.

  1. Join and agree

    Add play.everdawnmc.net, hop in and read the rules once - you click "I agree" before you can chat or build.

  2. Gear up at the village

    /kit starter gives you the Starter Pickaxe. /help opens the guide and /warp gets you around.

  3. Earn coins

    Mine the generators at spawn and /sell what you get. Monsters, quests and time played (not AFK) pay too.

  4. Explore the Wilds

    /explore takes you to your own spot: loot caches, shrines, special mobs and Dawnstone ore deep underground.

  5. Level up

    Forge your pickaxe with /upgrade, clear /dungeons, fight in /pvp and /koth, and finish /quests.

Plots - your own land along river roads, with private ore generators and autominers. We're also pre-generating a much bigger Wilds. Both get announced on Discord when they're ready.

Getting started

How to join

It takes about a minute.

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition and click Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Type any name you like, then paste this into Server Address:
  4. Click Done, then double-click Everdawn in your server list.
  5. Read the rules and click I agree. Then type /kit starter and /help - you're set.

Rules

The rules, in short

Everdawn has younger players too, so we keep it friendly. You'll see the full rules the first time you join, and you can read them again any time with /rules.

  • Be kind

    No harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs or threats - in chat, messages, signs, names or builds.

  • Keep chat clean

    No spam, no NSFW, no advertising other servers. English in public chat so staff can moderate it.

  • Keep personal info private

    Never share anyone's real name, address, photos or other private details - it's an instant ban. Keep your own private too.

  • Play fair

    No hacked clients, x-ray, macros or bug and dupe abuse. No combat logging - and PvP stays in the arena and KOTH.

  • Respect other people's builds

    No griefing or stealing in the Wilds, and no traps where new players arrive.

  • Trade honestly

    No scams or fake items, and no trading items, coins or accounts for real money.

Chat is filtered for slurs, harassment, advertising and swearing, and staff are told when something gets blocked.

See someone breaking the rules? Use /report <player> <reason> instead of taking revenge. Think a punishment was unfair? Appeal politely on our Discord.

FAQ

Questions

Does Everdawn cost anything?

No, it's completely free. There's no store: you can't buy coins, crate keys, perks or tags with real money. Everything is earned by playing.

Which Minecraft versions can join?

Java Edition 1.10 up to 26.3. The server itself runs 1.21.11, so the newest versions get the best experience.

Can I play on Bedrock (phone, console, Windows Bedrock)?

Not at the moment - Everdawn is Java Edition only. You also need an official Java account; cracked launchers can't join.

Where is the server hosted? Will it lag?

It's hosted in London, UK, so ping is best across Europe. Players further away can still join, just with higher ping.

Restarts are quick and don't kick you: you wait in a lobby and get moved back automatically.

How do I report a player or a bug?

In game: /report <player> <reason> for rule breakers, /bug for bugs (your location is attached automatically) and /helpop to ask online staff for help. /staff shows who's on. You can also reach us on Discord.

How can I become staff?

Staff openings are announced on our Discord, and that's where you apply when they open. Until then, the best thing you can do is be friendly and helpful in game.
